Below are the procedures for delivering contracts from the normal high sec queue. Please note that all Pushers working in high sec are expected to have at least their own freighter and 1 billion ISK in collateral. Owning a deep space transport and a blockade runner is highly recommended for the low sec (small) contracts.

Procedures

  1. Take the oldest contract in the queue first.
    • Rush contracts are always higher priority than the oldest contracts in the queue.
    • If you see a newer contract (or newer contracts) that you can complete while doing an older contract or a rush contract it is alright to accept and deliver the newer contract(s) as well.
    • If doing an older contract or rush contract that would put you in a position to easily do other newer contracts once you reach the initial destination you may take those newer contracts and complete them as well.
    • DO NOT take the highest reward contracts in the queue unless they are close to expiring.
    • Low sec (small) contracts are considered to be part of the high sec queue.
  2. Read the description of the contract before accepting it.
  3. Send an ETA mail using the evemail generator to the customer before or when you pick the package up.
  4. Avoid using the autopilot while carrying contracts.
  5. Check the Push Internal MOTD for any warnings about high sec systems.
  6. Upon delivering the package send a delivery mail using the evemail generator to the customer.
    • If you are doing multiple contracts for one customer to and from the same places, and the completion of those contracts are not separated by long intervals of time, just send one delivery mail marked with x + # of contracts (x2 = for 2 contracts, x5 = for 5 contracts) in the title of the delivery mail (i.e. "Your Push Industries Delivery x2 (Amarr > Jita)").

Special Cases

  1. Split Contracts: Customers are allowed to break a single contract up into several sub-contracts if the number of item stacks in the contract exceeds EVE Online's item stack limit for contracts. The total combined volume of these sub-contracts cannot total more than the 900,000 m3 limit for high sec couriers or the 25,000 m3 limit for low sec (small) couriers. These sub-contracts will be identified by 1/3, 2/3, 3/3, etc. in the contract description. Since the contract is split into several sub-contracts the reward and collateral will be spread across all the sub-contracts. These sub-contracts are meant and designed to be delivered together, not separately, so DO NOT take 1/2 of a contract while leaving 2/2 behind for another Pusher to complete.

  2. Containers: For high sec service Push Industries discourages the use of containers in contracts and asks customers to avoid them when possible, but we do allow customers to place containers in contracts for several reasons: 1) when the number of item stacks is very high (200+) but the volume is low, 2) for allowing customers to organize a large number of items, and 3) to separate items from their own in the contract that might belong to a 3rd party. We require that customers identify when containers are present in a contract by saying so in the contract description. However, this does not always happen and the only way for Pushers to identify contracts with containers is after they have already accepted them. In the case where a Pusher accepts a contract with a container that freight package will have to be directly traded between the contractor and the hauler at the pick up station and again at the destination station. A CONTRACT CONTAINING A CONTAINER CANNOT BE RE-CONTRACTED. This means that the contractor and the hauler must be on different accounts to be logged in simultaneously to perform the trade.

  3. Low Sec (Small) Contracts: These are contracts that are meant to be completed in a blockade runner (with a covert ops cloak) or a deep space transport (with a MWD and a normal cloak).

Wrongly Priced Contracts

A wrongly priced contract is a contract with a reward below the normal price, or just below the rush price while still being significantly higher than the normal price. If you find a wrongly priced contract, do not accept it. Instead first try to convo the customer and notify them that the contract is wrong and that they need to fix the reward. DO NOT allow them to simply send the corporation the difference. However, it is allowed if they want to send you the difference and you are willing to complete that contract immediately. If they are not online you need to notify a Senior Pusher or Push Executive immediately.

  • Split contracts are not considered to be wrongly priced as long as all the rewards among the sub-contracts add to the correct reward.
