Below are the procedures for delivering contracts from the jump freight queue. Please note that all JF Pilots are expected to have their own jump freighter and at least one cyno. All JF Pilots must join the "PushJF" mailing list. All important jump freight announcements for JF Pilots will be sent via this mailing list.

Procedures

  1. Try to take the oldest JF contract in the queue first.
    • JF rush contracts are always higher priority than normal rush contracts.
    • If you see a high sec contract that you can complete while doing a JF contract it is alright to accept and deliver the high sec contract as well.
    • Because of the time it takes to delivery JF contracts, coordinate with the other JF Pilots and take the contracts nearest to you if other JF Pilots are on.
    • If you are setting up for a JF contract but cannot accept it immediately, use the PushJF mailing list to send a message to the other JF Pilots communicating your intention to complete the JF contract, so that other JF Pilots do not take it.
  2. Read the description of the contract before accepting it.
  3. DO NOT send an ETA mail to the customer. This presents a security risk for the jump freighter.
  4. Avoid using the autopilot while carrying contracts.
  5. Check the Push Internal MOTD and PushX MOTD for any announcements regarding the jump freight service.
  6. Upon delivering the package send a delivery mail using the evemail generator to the customer.

Containers

  • Low Sec: Push Industries discourages the use of containers in JF contracts and asks customers to avoid them when possible, but we do allow customers to place containers in low sec JF contracts for several reasons: 1) when the number of item stacks is very high (200+) but the volume is low, 2) for allowing customers to organize a large number of items, and 3) to separate items from their own in the contract that might belong to a 3rd party. We require that customers identify when containers are present in a low sec JF contract by saying so in the contract description. However, this does not always happen and the only way for JF Pilots to identify contracts with containers is after they have already accepted them. In the case where a JF Pilot accepts a contract with a container that freight package will have to be directly traded between the contractor and the hauler at the pick up station and again at the destination station. A CONTRACT CONTAINING A CONTAINER CANNOT BE RE-CONTRACTED. This means that the contractor and the hauler must be on different accounts to be logged in simultaneously to perform the trade.
